The Forest House

Brandenburg, GER · 2024

Inhabiting silence.

Designed as a continuous sequence of textured concrete planes, the Forest House curves deeply into a dense grove of native pines. High window frames slide back completely, dissolving boundaries.

The weight of light.

Harnessing the changing shadow paths of the southern coast. Travertine surfaces are left unpolished to catch sand and breeze.
